Approach to Practice
Litigation is stressful. The result is never certain. The outcome may face appeal.
I regard every brief as a bespoke matter which deserves appropriate consideration and advice as well as the development of a strategic approach to the case.
For that reason, I maintain a limited practice; both in areas of practice and in the volume of work which I accept.
I welcome approaches from solicitors regarding challenging cases, particularly involving novel or uncertain legal issues in preference to cases with unremarkable facts and legal issues in well-trodden areas of the law.
Predicting an outcome in litigation may be relatively straightforward, or all but impossible. Irrespective of that variability, every case needs a strategy to follow that best meets the interests of the client.
In every case, know where you want to go.
